Deep dives into design thinking, creative process, and the intersection of business and aesthetics.
The lines between technologies have disappeared
Modern businesses rely on connected ecosystems. A mobile app may depend on a web platform, APIs and cloud infrastructure. A customer portal might connect with legacy business systems. AI may sit inside an existing workflow rather than exist as a standalone product. Automation can link processes that previously belonged to completely different departments.
In fact, we recognised this shift several years ago. ImagePlus wrote in 2022 about AppsPlus and ImagePlus coming closer together because technologies were co-evolving and integration was becoming increasingly important.
What has happened since has taken that thinking much further.
Our clients are asking different questions
Increasingly, the conversation doesn't begin with, 'Can you build us an app?' or, 'We need a new website.'
It begins with a business problem.
How can we make this process more efficient? Why are our systems not talking to each other? Could AI remove some of this manual work? How do we modernise technology the business has relied on for years? Where should we invest next?
Those questions require more than a single development discipline. They require an understanding of the business first, followed by the ability to bring together the right strategy and technology.
That is why we created Zenith
Zenith represents what the business has become: a Strategic Technology Partner.
We work across four connected capabilities: Strategy & Consultancy, Software & Platforms, AI & Automation and Managed Support.
Sometimes that means designing and developing new technology. Sometimes it means improving or integrating what already exists. Sometimes the most valuable first step is simply helping a leadership team understand the problem and decide what should happen next.
The important part is that we don't begin with the assumption that we already know the answer.
A new name, built on an established business
Zenith is a new identity, but the experience behind it isn't new.
We remain a UK based team in Coventry. We retain the experience, client relationships and technical capability built through ImagePlus and AppsPlus. And we continue to support technology that our clients depend on every day.
What changes is the way we describe what we do and, more importantly, the role we want to play for our clients.
We're not here simply to deliver the next piece of technology. We're here to help organisations make better technology decisions, build the right things and keep improving them as their businesses evolve.
What comes next
Technology will continue to change. AI alone is reshaping what businesses expect from software, data and automation at remarkable speed.
Our job isn't to chase every new technology. It's to understand where change creates genuine value and help our clients use it intelligently.
That is the thinking behind Zenith. New name. Broader capability. The same belief that the best technology starts with understanding the business.
